CARAVANE Final Festival in Málaga — A Cross-European Celebration of Youth, Art, and Climate Culture
27–28 November 2025
Málaga, Spain
After two years of artistic experimentation and cross-border collaboration, the CARAVANE Project concludes its journey with a public celebration in Málaga. The CARAVANE Final Festival will bring together young creators, project partners, local communities, and international guests to share the creative outcomes of the initiative and reflect on its cultural and societal impact.
Co-hosted by members of the CARAVANE consortium and the University of Málaga, the event marks the culmination of a collaborative effort that connected diverse artistic practices with questions of climate justice, urban belonging, and cultural identity. According to the official programme, the festival will “showcase the outcomes, share experiences, and reflect on the impact achieved throughout the project’s lifetime.”

The programme blends research, artistic production, and community dialogue, highlighting the voices of young artists who participated in the project’s creative labs across Europe.
A Celebration with Purpose
The Final Festival is not a closing statement, but an invitation to consider what comes next. Throughout the event, participants will have the chance to:
-
Engage with artistic material developed across multiple countries
-
Experience performances shaped by real community collaboration
-
Join conversations on climate justice, urban sustainability, and cultural practice
-
Reflect on how youth art can influence local and European public dialogue
The festival also contributes to a broader CARAVANE deliverable: a detailed documentation of activities, outcomes, and artistic processes. This serves as a guide to understanding how creative work can support civic participation and connect local expressions with wider European identities.
For the Citizens of Málaga and Beyond
The CARAVANE Final Festival is open to the public, and members of the Málaga community — students, cultural workers, activists, educators, and anyone interested in art and climate action — are warmly invited to attend.
